Dear Zulya and Silk Road Treasure Tours, 

Thank you for putting together such a great trip!  

The itinerary gave us such insight into Uzbekistan.  Once again we have been reminded that people are the same everywhere – with similar hopes, aspirations and dreams.

We enjoyed the cold local beer, the tasty food, the beautiful sights of and information about the mosques, minarets, madrassas and mausoleums, and the culture of Uzbekistan.  We loved that children said hello to us often, and many tried to engage us in conversation.  We also encountered many adults who were as curious about us as we were about them!

Please extend our sincerest thank you to (our hosts in Uzbekistan) …for the abundant and tasty Uzbek meal…our first introduction to the wonderful and exceptional Uzbekistan hospitality and to tasty plov!

All of our drivers, arranged by  Silk Road Treasure Tours were excellent, and our guide shared his immense knowledge of historical sites, the Muslim religion and life in Uzbekistan.  He kept us well informed and worked to meet our expectations …including finding gold embroidery thread and a metal weaving shuttle.
