Rose Whitehill’s Inspiring Solo Travels through Uzbekistan  

My trip to Uzbekistan as a solo female traveler was absolutely amazing. From the modern streets of Tashkent to the ancient mosques of Khiva, Samarkand and Bukhara, everything was so beautiful and full of history. Zulya Rajabova planned every detail perfectly, from the charming boutique hotels to the colorful bazaars, and even a wonderful lunch with her family. It was my first major international trip, and I felt safe and welcomed everywhere I went.

My guide, Ahror, was fantastic. He knew so much about the architecture, history, and flora, and his stories about the Silk Road were unforgettable. Bukhara, with its bustling bazaars, tea houses, and handicraft centers, was my favorite. The hotels were traditional and beautifully designed, and I could see amazing sights right from my window. The hotel staff in Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva were all very friendly and helpful.

My Uzbekistan trip was filled with memorable experiences like cooking classes and meeting local children who wanted to practice their English. The streets, cities, parks, and even the deserts were all clean and beautiful. I loved exploring the different cultures and religions, and I felt safe at all times.
