We have traveled to Central Asia and Caucasus May/June, 2012 with Zulya Rajabova (from Silk Road Treasure Tours) to discover these fascinating countries and the wineries of these silk road destinations. We had a memorable trip. Uzbekistan was certainly the most interesting place to visit in Central Asia. From Tashkent, then south to Samarkand, and then west to Bukhara, it was interesting to see Uzbek cultural attitudes on their cities. They are the cleanest we have seen anywhere in the world, at least in the forty countries we have visited. However Georgia is the country of best wine!
