Born and raised in Ashgabat, Maisa is a proud native of Turkmenistan with a lifelong passion for her country’s ancient history, rich culture, and legendary Silk Road heritage. From an early age, she was fascinated by the stories of civilizations that once flourished along the Silk Road, inspiring her to dedicate herself to learning foreign languages and sharing Turkmenistan with the world. After completing her university education, Maya began her professional guiding career and has since become a trusted cultural ambassador, known for her deep knowledge, thoughtful explanations, and genuine love for her homeland, Turkmenistan.
Maya specializes in Turkmenistan cultural discovery tours, archaeological and historical Silk Road tours, and adventure travel experiences. She expertly guides travelers through iconic sites such as the ancient cities of Merv, Kunya-Urgench, and Nisa, as well as the legendary Darvaza Gas Crater. In Ashgabat, she offers insightful visits to the National Museum of Turkmenistan, where she brings history to life through engaging storytelling and in-depth lectures.
