Tsakhkadzor

The Tsakhadzor resort in located in Central Armenia, only 30 minutes from Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. It is a popular year-round attraction with skiing in winter and hiking in warmer weather. Tsakhadzor means "valley of flowers," and wildflowers bloom in Armenian mountain meadows in May and June. The town is also home to the Kecharis Monastery, founded by a prince in the 11th century, with construction continuing for the next two hundred years!
