Uzbekistan Ecotourism

Come with us for environmentally and socially responsible travel to Central Asia. Travel “green” to the treasures of the Silk Road alongside knowledgeable guides with years of ecotourism experience. So much of Uzbekistan is agricultural land, using organic growing methods. Any visitor will be delighted with the fruits and vegetables grown here, always abundant on any table. There are plenty of opportunities to arrange a meeting with cotton farmers, and everyone has a garden at their home which they’d be proud to show off! Near Bukhara there are villages engaged in sericulture where travelers can see the process of silk worm breeding first-hand . Nature, the environment and wildlife are important in Uzbekistan and meetings with professors or teachers can be arranged to discuss these issues. Ecological management is an integral part of Uzbekistan’s economic reforms as an independent nation. Wildlife reserves are part of these efforts to preserve the country’s unspoiled natural beauty, and you will have every opportunity to see it at its best – from city to village, desert, steppe and mountain!
